Not canon, still a nice watch.
Could have developed a previously unnamed character in unexpected ways, like exploring more of the "unexplored" parts of Middle-Earth (especially after the Watcher in the Deep cameo), instead of replacing Fréaláf, consequently retconning his deeds at the battle at Meduseld and siege of Isengard.
Throughout the story I was hopefull (albeit in the end slightly disappointed) Hera would take on a odyssey of her own proving her prowess as a shieldmaiden, putting her up there with other great characters such as Galadriel and Haleth.
