    Once the credits rolled, I realized the “oh moment” I had hoped that would’ve showed up sooner or later in this movie would in fact not. The acting is good, it’s not phenomenal but the cast is brilliant nonetheless. Overall, good movie but I felt disappointed.     Conclave, with its amazing sound design, incredible cinematography, intricate characters, brilliant acting performance, and commentary on many contemporary events, was among the best movies I’ve recently watched.

    Although it may seem obvious given the premise of the movie, I particularly enjoyed how concepts such as faith, power, righteousness and virtue were used, among many other biblical symbolism.     Honestly expected more from this movie. Although I liked the cinematography and the acting, brilliant cast by the way, I felt disappointed by the climax of the movie. I feel the movie promised much more in its first half with the mystery of the connection between Orlok and Ellen and Thomas’ travel to Transylvania, especially the rituals of the locals.
