Jim Carrey’s acting and humor are just perfect for Eggman. Sonic 3 was great, I feel like this was the best one yet out of the three. I loved the parallels between Sonic and Shadow, and the amy and Metal Sonic reveal was amazing. Can’t wait for the next one!

Great movie! It reminds me of Genndy Tartakovsky's storytelling style in shows like Primal and Samurai Jack. I really appreciated how the movie guides you without relying heavily on dialogue, especially since the body language of animals is not as easy to interpret as that of humans.

I’m not entirely sure how to feel about the ending (it wasn’t bad by any means). From the way the story was progressing at first, I was expecting a Cinderella-type ending—maybe not to the “happily ever after” extent, but something along those lines. Instead, the ending wasn’t sad exactly, but it wasn’t happy either. It left me with more of a “sit with it” type of feeling, like something you just have to accept.
