The Bone Collector 1999
Sooo Denzel basically did everything? If I had a penny for everytime he was in a movie where he traumatises a new cop on their first day I would have two. And thought the kinda rookie cop was qualified to do intense CSI and CUTTING OFF FINGERS?. Was ok but gave discount Seven mixed with some elements of silence of the lambs with Angelina Jolie doing her best Jodie foster impression. Kinda mid but late night movie so I didn’t mind.

Thought it was time I rewatched as I haven’t seen this since it came out when I was way too young to fully get it and I definitely liked it a lot more now also ends with the most 2014 song choice which was a blast from the past. My Dead Friend Zoe 2024
Had the joy of watching this at Glasgow Film Festival which even had in person introduction by Ed Harris. Thought this was really well done with balancing tones. Has a really important message that most people don’t know about. Great acting by Merit can see that actress get some good roles after. Also really emotional use of Umbrella got me. Really enjoyed this and can see this gaining more traction as the year goes on.

Ok wasn’t as good as fallout but wow. All hail Tom Cruise. At some points it felt very long and the plot got bit insane and unbelievable with the dialogue being ropey at some stages but overall a very good movie.
