  Utterly captivating.
  I was so unsure as to whether this would live up to it’s predecessor, but oh my goodness it did. The cinematography was phenomenal and each battle scene held the same electric energy as Gladiator did in 2000. Mescal was sensational, as was Washington and Pascal. An absolute must see!

  MASTERCLASS IN ACTING

  Precise, poised and punchy are all words used to describe the performance of Blanchett in this film. She is an absolute force to be reckoned with and executes the storyline/characterisation in a way that I cannot imagine another actor doing successfully. 
  The cinematography is wonderful, the pace is at the right speed for my brain to keep up, the music is beautiful and Blanchett (as well as Hoss) is breathtaking.
