  Hilarious and difficult.

  I loved that there had been no real turnaround, no redemption or perfect resolution: none with his old friends, none with the girl, none with his videography, none with his sister, none with his grandma, barely any with his mother. But despite all that, you know he’ll be okay.

  I had almost forgotten how hard it was to be a kid. 差点忘了，弟弟。

  I am crazy about this movie. Everything, everything about it was perfect. Subtle but clear in what it feels like to be in limbo with yourself. To be too young and too old, too excited and too tired. Stylized like a modern-day Amélie. Frances Ha done better. Nordrum was a brilliant actor. The narration was tasteful, smart, placed exactly to cover up the taboo-ity of heavy scenes, raising it from the lukewarm to be able to plunge into the boiling…
