This had all the makings of a 3.5 star film (which for my stingy scoring means it’s been very well received) but they just kinda threw that half star away in the final 10 mins.
No spoilers of course, but just had the feel of there being multiple different ways the movie ended either via script and / or edits…. So they kinda just went with the messy underwhelming version and BOOM credits. So you’re sat there like huh, did that just happen?!
Until then we were having a great time tho. Lots of familiar tropes, but a stellar cast to execute them all very well.
