This film was basically multiple “Day in the Life”s of Hirayama, an employee of ‘The Tokyo Toilet’. I was just watching a guy watching life go by for 2 h 4 m.

Totally reaffirms that it doesn’t take man much to be happy and also that one can find happiness in the little things. Hirayama, for example, cherishes his cassette tapes, books, and ‘Tree Friends’.

A film with not a single Muslim name credited in the ‘Written by’ category has got to be one of the best satires I have ever seen about Islamic “extremists”. The mockery is so intense that even a special-needs donkey like Waj would be able to see the ridicule.
I’m not running a marathon anytime soon but when I start training, I’ll be incorporating ‘squat jogs’ for my quads.
