Anatomy of a Fall 2023
Just when I was about to get bored with the movie, certain moments pulled me back in and kept me watching. It had a strong sense of engagement that made the 150 minute runtime surprisingly bearable, something that's rare in movies these days. I think the best decision in the screenplay was keeping reality ambiguous. The evidence presented, doesn’t lean definitively in any direction, making it impossible for us as viewers to distinguish right from wrong. In the end, only the accused truly knows what happened.
