Was NOT expecting to be so floored, moved, SHOCKED, and inspired by a movie about the election of a new pope. Outstanding performances. Totally gripping plot with genuinely surprising twists and turns. All those queens being catty in their red dresses. Loved it!

Held me in thrall the whole way through. Perfectly encapsulates the terror and hilarity of dream logic. Glad I got to see it big at Vidiots because the first time I attempted to watch was in college when I was extremely high and I fell asleep. I currently feel electric/excited and also very anxious. My favorite part was when the guy spit the espresso into his napkin, but nobody was laughing as hard as I was at that part.

Sex is so weird lol. It’s so layered and complex. It can be difficult to navigate, tone-wise. It can feel pretty ridiculous one moment and deadly serious the next. The way that this movie addressed these nuances was very impressive to me - especially since such an endeavor is so rarely successful.

Devastating. Gorgeous. Surreal. I let it wash over me and it was a truly unique experience. Was excited to see a choreographer in the opening credits and when the dance moment finally arrived, it did not disappoint. Ended up being my favorite part of the movie. Also it was extremely powerful to see Daniel Craig - friggin James Bond -  the masculine ideal to so many - play a character like Lee. Wracked with longing, unsure of himself, pathetic in many ways. Broke my heart in the best way.
