Soderbergh on a $2M budget and apparently shot it with a Sony on a gimbal wearing slippers. It looks like it too, but in the most intentional way. Went in without any expectations and ended up loving it. Cinematography was gorgeous, the Iceland shots alone speaks for it. Well done performances throughout (Odessa Young was great). The editing kept it thrilling from start to finish and credit to, my favorite aspect of the movie, the soundtrack. The scenes had some Eggers inspiration but had some Nolan influence as well. Definitely felt like a grand movie watching it. The story was actually compelling too, kept you interested and curious…
