  Superior to the original. Watched this with my 3 year old and we were both fully in for the ride. I was so prepared to be cynical and hate it, but goddamn it if it didn’t hit me in the feels. One minute I was all “here we go, another Disney money grab hack job”, and the next minute I was commenting on how loveable and funny Olaf is, and how cool the earth giants are. I’m truly getting softer as I age.

  Dope cinematography and set design. Some incredible sequences. Eggers continues to operate on a whole other level. Just wish it was scarier and had more emotional resonance.
