Captain America: The Winter Soldier 2014
I fell asleep watching for a portion of it but that doesn't stop this film from being one of the best mcu films there is.
because while it is a mcu film, it's just a film first and foremost and the writing and growth of steve as a character here is amazing.
ontop of just great set pieces and it the dynamic between steve and natasha being formed, introducing bucky and his transformation and how this affects steve is just amazing.

I really enjoy this film from start to finish, on top of being a stand alone marvel film this deep into the franchise the character writing here is great and I feel like everyone motivations are clear, you see them develop and the chemistry between them is great, I truly believe this is a ragtag bunch of peeps who just happened to find friendship in each other in the worst of times, only to come out saving the galaxy.
