A really good film. Not my favourite of Villeneuve's, but definitely an interesting, impeccably done project, serving as an all-praise-deserving finale to V's francophone filmographic period.
What is there left to be said of that most prodigious twist extraordinaire? Albeit stupendous, I do wonder —as with all such 'twisters'— how well it may hold once stripped of that (tremendously) potent element of surprise. — Festina lente: It seems thus prudent to make haste of yet-another-rewatch, as that old adagio so advises.

Excellent film. Terrific performance from R. Blake. Absolutely horrid (in the absolute best way possible) atmosphere all throughout the introduction. Jazz bar scene was just splendid. Felt (in a number of ways) like an oppressive companion (accomplice?) to Mulholland Dr. Rich exploration of the human mind – Lynch proves himself once more a master psychologist

Absolutely stellar performance from Sandler's part. Don't think a movie ever made me feel SO MUCH ANXIETY FOR SO LONG. Truly felt like one were refused time and time again any room to breathe throughout its 130 minutes runtime. Film had me continuously mumbling to myself "Oh God please just stop" every time Howard dug himself even deeper into that absolute, ever-expanding mess he'd created (which was approximately every two minutes)
