This was the frenchiest movie I’ve ever seen. And I loved it. The style of the fast editing and jump cuts, the black and white of the conversations/characters vs colorful Paris (where the real love is), all complemented by a wonderful soundtrack. Superb!
The dialogue did seem trite at times, but in the words of The Social Network, just because something is trite doesn’t make it any less true 😼. The conversations about independence and love are still relevant today
