This one was...two things. 2 out of those 2 1/2 stars are for all the nice little callbacks to the games. The creators definetely knew those and cared for them. Or at least they wanted to make fans smile. Lot of Fan-service here and thank you for that. Those moments rocked!

The similarities to "Romancing the Stone" aside, this one was what it's supposed to be: Harmless, silly fun. That's what I wanted out of it and got it. Also, Sandra and Channing are amongst my most liked Hollywood stars. Was there a story? I guess, but it was a vehicle for those two to do stuff. And that's fine with me. A fun movie :)
