Though this movie doesn’t really stand the test of time, the enjoyability doesn’t decline. The music, the storyline, it’s so captivating and entertaining I find I can overlook the deeply troubling disordered eating, sexism and all the other qualms I have with the movie. It’s a comfort watch, and I’ll love it for years to come.
