I think I was a bit over zealous last time with my review. But I still think it’s amazing and that it’s a great little story of living a life worth living and standing up to fascism and how the living with others and for others and in service of others is kinda the meaning of life I guess? Or at least it’s what gives life meaning
Just the perfect movie for what I wanted tonight. Engaging, stylish, funny, super cool, Brad Pitt, Erin brokovich, nespresso guy, and war machine with the most laughable accent of all time.
I’m such a fan of movies that go head first into genre/style without a hint of sarcasm or ‘meta’ness or snark. Like it’s just totally sincere. It’s a heist movie where the guy is trying to win his wife back, that’s all it is. And I love it.
