I liked it a fair amount, I’m not a very harsh critic though :) I will say that if Sophie Thatcher of all people was my girlfriend I would not have treated her that way smh he fumbled

Sixteen Candles 1984
the storyline might have been slightly okay if it weren’t for the racism, slurs, date rape etc.. very unexpected and hard to watch. I kind of hated every character (especially the little brother) but I felt sort of bad for the lead. for the record I was mixing up this movie with pretty in pink, which I saw a trailer for once, so I spent the first hour wondering where the guy best friend was. oh also like no chemistry with the couples that I guess we were supposed to root for? Molly Ringwald I’m sorry queen
