The Thing 1982
A gem of it's time. The thing know exactly what kind of story it wants to tell, never deviating from what it's setting up. It has a small, but strong main cast, amazing practical effects and gore, and a amazing tale of paranoia. It masterfully deals with what the audience doesn't know, until the very end. All and all, a great movie that has aged like fine wine.
