It’s worth a watch. As we consider our lives and meaning within them, it can be easy to find a lack of significance, but I think this film, whilst recognizing the potentially arbitrary nature of things, provides a hopeful and useful way to think about our lives. Overall, it was a fun time, I enjoyed a lot of the shots, and it gave me something valuable to consider. I recommend the movie highly :)

The French Dispatch 2021
The French Dispatch was a joy to watch. I’m biased as a lover of Wes Anderson films. There’s something about his style, ever-present in his most recent venture, the iconic pans, familiar faces, and well-crafted atmosphere with work done by Alexandre Desplat for the music and skilled work on each physical set piece that is, in itself, a draw. It comes across with an absurdity reminiscent in my mind of Albert Camus’ frankness when addressing the common occurrences of life. If you enjoy highly stylized comedy and/or enjoy short stories, you should watch this film.
