Strangers on a Train 1951
Seriously this movie is incredible. A great and riveting story, wonderful acting, wonderful dialogue, creative choices in cinematography??? This is Hitchcock's best in my opinion.
one other favorite part: the nerdy teenage girl who looked, talked, and acted exactly like me :D

Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace 1999
Inexplicably, Lucasfilms decided in the late 1990s that the most lucrative choice to make with the intellectual property would be a prequel showing Darth Vader's childhood. In a thoughtless move against the first movies' incredible storytelling, The Phantom Menace begins a trilogy meant to remove all mystery from the franchise and replace it with something despicably pedantic and annoying.

The Truman Show 1998
I watched this movie with @b1ank37 as "The Jerma Show", an edit of The Truman Show with deranged livestreamer Jerma985 overlaid on top of Truman every time he's in frame. We kind of just forgot we were watching a meme version because it's such an insanely good movie. Whenever there's a scene without Jerma, we got so sucked into the plot and the themes and then the funny streamer man showed up. It was like watching The Truman Show but some annoying guy keeps standing in front of the tv and trying to make you laugh.
