  Although I sat through this against my will from someone 1/4 of my size, I would be lying if I said I wasn’t on the edge of my seat 85% of the time.

  However, I have a couple notes:

  - The portrayal of each music genre lacked some profundity. Maybe they needed more stereotypes included in their musical depictions, but a part of me says even that couldn’t save this disaster of an introduction.

  Rope 1948

  What seems to slightly compare to Edgar Allan Poe’s theme of The Masque of the Red Death, Alfred Hitchcock’s Rope is without a doubt a symbolic thrill. The rushed, acute dialogue is to be praised for this interpretation. Each and every word spoken from the handful of characters presented is undeniably voiced with significant meaning, and never fails to provoke thought. 

  Quite more than just a crime tale, as most of Hitchcock’s work seems to be!
