  Not on the best movies eva but certainly one of MY favorite movies eva. All-time type…. So whimsical and so true. At so many points this movie could’ve descended into bad bad territory — ie felt problem of “weirdness for the sake of weirdness alone” (i had this problem with lobster!), oversentimentality, moralizing/cringe, so strange that it manages to it lose humanity, etc. — but it never did.
