beautifully shot and beautifully told vampire lore. very much a film that can be left to personal interpretation, and therefore a film that probably isn’t for everyone. as a gothic horror and vampire of all types enthusiast, I enjoyed it and would watch again. Hoult surprised me; 10/10 performance
