  Personally I prefer the 1990 mini series with Tim Curry, but this is still great for a remake.
  They really could've gone harder on the scares as the visuals went pretty soft and goofy occasionally but still overall a great horror film.

  Didn't quite live up to the level of the first film but was still a fun watch.
  I really miss movies that heavily relied on physical special effects opposed to digital. It gives more flavor to the movie.

  I love a movie where Nicolas Cage gets to play these oddball roles that only he could pull off. It started off pretty funny but got so dark and sad, made me feel so bad for the guy. He just wanted to teach, love his wife and write a damn book 😭

  Awakenings 1990

  It was interesting to see both Robert De Niro and Robin Williams step outside their typical roles and deliver great performances in a heartwarming true story.
  Not my usual type of film but was still a good watch.

  Also makes me miss Robin Williams, he really was one of the greats.
