Mickey 17 2025
this movie more than lived up to my expectations! it dives into some really interesting topics about faith and politics yet remains very charming and fun. i love when rob gets to do a fun voice and act like a freak, mickey was a great character and i feel like he really played the role perfectly. the whole cast did an incredible job though especially Mark Ruffalo, he really knows how to play a guy u just wanna punch in the face and i gotta give him credit for that. definitely a new fav for me :)

lots of thoughts on longlegs, firstly i thought the cast did an incredible job! everyone felt very real to the world that they were placed in which i love. i also was blown away by the cinematography and score! both elements were used so well to create dread and anxiety and i always love when films can make me that scared without a jumpscare or anything unsettling on screen. the jumpscares that were in the film were also well done…

so refreshing! modern horror needed something fun and different and this movie is both. the twist and turns are completely unpredictable while also making sense to the world created, and the true evil of the movie gives such depth beyond just a creature film. both Skarsgård and Long’s characters are not what the seem at first glance and it’s such a ride to watch the true intentions of their characters play out. i’ve recommended this to everyone i know because it’s a joy to ask people what they thought after seeing it. overall a perfect horror film and i loved every minute of it.
