  Wow!! the ending of this is so crazy. It reminds me of Southland Tales in a way, in how it fully inhabits and loves a horrible and perverse worldview. The music is fun too. Julia Fox is the most beautiful woman alive and her love for Howard is so sweet.

  This is such a monolith i don't even know how to put it into words. jesus christ 4.5 hours. I have never seen a movie that captures like this the way everyday life feels. amazing acting and writing, this is exactly how people talk and act.

  i relate a lot to Traps' thing where she presents herself as a kind of authority on transness and on sex, when in actuality she is caught up in a lot of bad ideas…

  Extremely salient right now specifically. Unfortunately all the characters felt like one-dimensional cliches. Here's the evil newspaper editor, here's the idealistic young blood, here's the bitter old maid, here's the child-like janitor. It felt like the only this movie cared about was the practical mechanics of the frame-up and not any of the characters involved. Show us their lives! Show us what they believed in, why they were out there throwing bricks through windows!

  Implicitly ends up reifying the view…
