The Boy and the Heron 2023
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
The Boy and the Heron really demonstrates themes of death, grief, forgiveness and more. The graphics are gorgeous, the characters are pretty well-written. However, the plot line gets very confusing, even at the start, especially with the dad's new girlfriend, the loops in time, etc. I feel as though there was a weird almost romantic bond between the protagonist and his mother when she is young and they travel through time and dimensions together. But still, it is a great movie and worth the watch.
