Ali & Ratu Ratu Queens 2021
New York montage is something that will always moves my heart.
That being said, this movie doesn’t. Or so I thought.
Felt like most montages are unnecessary, especially those floating zero gravity class. Felt pretentious. No connection between Eva and Ali is also such a dread in this movie. The conclusion of Ali-Mia relationship is unsatisfying and anti-climactic.
But, the vibe between the “queens of queens” is undeniably heart-y and they are more than Mia could ever be as Ali’s mother(s).…
