this movie didn't give me any nightmares like I thought it would, and despite the first half of it feeling like a black mirror episode where the characters feel more like dolls than people, the whole set felt alive by the end.
i loved all of the set choices. the overly futuristic auditoriums for the more formal sequences where they were hearing the ethics of creating duplicates of someone felt like the perfect bureaucratic fantasy land. the realistic space ship…

loved this film its such a treat. wanted to watch it the other day but the internet lied and its not on netflix so i'll have to ship it. there's just so much going on at once and right after itself and before and during every moment. very satisfying for ANYONE addicted to short form content.
honestly i don't remember many of its themes but the mother daughter thing and then the one guy's name is Waymondhonestly the film does have a bit of a stench of 2020 corniness but thats okay <3
