This film is beautiful. Thats non negotiable. Each shot is composed beautifully with brilliance in colour and lighting that immerses the viewer into the pagan culture.
The first sequence of the film leaves chills that don't quite go away for the rest of the film, helping us sympathise with our protagonist's trauma. Florence Pugh starts the film off with an amazing performance, dealing with the intimate close up beautifully. I believed her completely from word go.
