Loved this one frfr. Bong Joon-Ho’s latest adaptation masterfully blends social commentary with dope cinematography, great acting, and breathtaking vfx as we journey to & through Niflheim with Mickey.
Mickey begins as a tragic figure, but his arc unfolds into a deeply satisfying conclusion. I especially appreciated how the compassionate Nasha serves as the perfect foil to Mark Ruffalo’s brutish and dim-witted politician. And Robert Pattinson? He delivers one of his finest performances to date, having to play diff versions of one character. I wouldn’t be surprised if he earns a nom next year.
