many people will say this is better than the film itself... I think it is futile to compare apples and oranges. Or rather it is like comparing an apple to the apple tree from which it fell. The tree is sturdy, ever-present, and yields a lifetime of delicious apples. But you can't eat the tree. And the book is better anyway.

Mickey 17 2025
Look, I'm no intellectual. So, naturally, I struggled to wrap my head around the political subtext of this film. I couldn't help but feel as though there was some kind of subtle commentary on our society, but I couldn't quite grasp the message! Mark Ruffalo's character did seem oddly familiar to me (was he based on a famous politician or something?) but then what the heck were those red hats supposed to represent? How confusing. I'm sure all will be revealed in Mickey 18.
