Watched this in the middle of the day with my ex-partner on the floor of a cramped Tulane dorm room after a very unforgettable unhinged morning in NOLA, and I barely remember the plot of the movie, but I remember this being the first anime I was like actually into and I also remember sobbing for way too long after the movie ended. And I really need to watch this again soon.
