  I'm not saying I didn't enjoy this for what it is. From the impressive cinematography to the understated, but surprisingly atmospheric score. I'm a sucker for gangster dramas. From the biker gang side of things, like many of my generation, I too went through a Sons of Anarchy phase.

  That said, I can't help but feel that this movie would've been better, if Jeff Nichols approached in a more atypical way akin to his earlier work like Take Shelter and Mud, rather than the typical, mainstream feel that I got from it.

  I will give props to that brief Norman Reedus appearance though.
