  i knew from the cover this had to be a good one, the dynamic between the two is just so perfect and raw. both actors are so good at balancing humor and deep emotion.
  while kieran did an incredible performance, i think jesse's performance goes less recognized. watching jesse's seemingly stable character breakdown gave us a good eye into what a great writer and actor jesse is.

  "And she lived hopefully ever after"

  Not once in the movie could I have been sure where Charity would end up, and the ending is definitely not one that crossed my mind. It surprised me how forward Fosse made the ending, given its been more recently that movies stray away from the idea of needing a man. I love how Bob Fosse's works age so well and still have so much meaning today, so I'm hopeful to see a remake…
