Unfortunately the anti hype is real. Ayo is great for what little material she is given and john malkovich is the best part of the movie by far. But like nothing happens? It raises interesting themes and never explores a single one of them. Truly I do not think a single thing happened.

It’s a genuine skill to make me scratch my head for the whole movie and then have me eating it up at the end. Like I am always impressed that I actually end up liking his twists within twists and plans within plans and reveals within reveals.
Some of the dialogue is bad, and most of the acting is iffy. Excluding the always fantastic Blanchett and Fassbender who carry the movie.
But like I eat this shit up at the end of the day.
