This is art. Twisted, disgusting, haunting, beautiful, compelling art. A movie about, at its core, the very basest of human natures. Sex. Fear. Lust.
The Skarsgårds will rule the world.
I simply cannot get enough of Robert Eggers
When it comes to movies (or anything else, for that matter) I’m not a sophisticated man. Things like imagery, metaphor, and message don’t matter as much to me, though they certainly have their place. All a movie needs to do is make me feel something. And About Time makes me feel a lot.
I think a lot of the praise should be given to casting; not a single weak performance in sight. Domnhall Gleeson is charming and witty but also awkward…
This was legitimately scary. Probably the scariest movie I’ve seen since hereditary. The ending was a little weak; it wasn’t entirely clear why it ended the way it did, but I’m also pretty stupid…
Yep. Terrifying
