Heretic 2024
Obviously Hugh Grant killed it, but I still feel like this movie lacked direction at times.The plot and religious discussion in the movie was fun but after a bit of Hugh’s character seemed to just go on and on and on. The first half of the film was great, it built on tension and suspended but then just had a slow descent into a plateau. I say it’s worth a watch but I can’t say it’s worth revisiting in the future.

Evil Dead Rise 2023
Lots of people hated this but I LOVED IT! I definitely thought that it was creepier than the last one that came out. It gave the GORE and did not disappoint. Loved the queer representation 🤘🏾
