The Brutalist 2024
Definitely a visual masterpiece, however the diceyness in the latter parts feels a bit too A24 of a conflict, drawing attention to the more secondary aspects of the film. I wish it was summed up in a more architectural manner - everything else feels like it was considered in this way, embodying the spirit of what architecture is, but the ending feels rushed.

Portrait of a Lady on Fire 2019
Reminded me a lot of The Handmaiden because of the class relationship and their forced closeness, but took completely different turns at the end. Overall; enjoyed The Handmaiden better because of the plot.
