Wonka 2023
Chalamet brought the soul of Roal Dahl's original character into his performance as Willy Wonka. This Wonka is less jaded than Wilders and has a childlike naivete that is a stark contrast to the world he stumbles into. Overall a beautifully layered origin story that brings the hope that even in the bleakest of circumstances sometimes there is a happy ending.

My absolute favorite Bollywood movie, and the first one I ever watched. Shah Rukh Khan is an amazing triple threat, or maybe a sextuple threat in his role as both quiet good guy Surinder and play boy Raj. The duality in which he plays both sides of the personality of one man is enchanting you start to believe it's two different actors. And then as the movie build the lines between them blur as Surinder builds confidence to become what he needed from Raj to win over the love of his life. Total swoon worthy movie!
