The Greatest Beer Run Ever 2022
Slow beginning, but worth it. Not the comedy I was expecting, but pleasantly surprised. Great production and a fantastic script that’s very relevant to what’s going in the world today.

Lost in Translation 2003
Had been so looking forward to this one as one of the few films with a female screenwriter to win Best Original Screenplay and with all the other nominations behind it, but so disappointed to see it as yet another perpetuation of an old man who finally feels “understood” by a young, attractive woman, who is feeding off her admiration for him and her vulnerability. Hollywood doesn’t need anymore of this shit. Disappointed by the film, but even more disappointed by the stupid perpetuation of lonely men’s fantasies by a female screenwriter. Ugh.
