great film!!! i really loved the message
although,,,,,,,,, two critiques:
the ending????? this might be one of the most cliche endings i’ve ever seen. i did NOT want yvette (taraji p henson) and jody (tyrese gibson) to get back together in ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM.
yes, jody “got his life together” i guess??, and he finally started to grasp own selfishness + insecurities (as they started to seriously affect him)… but i truly believe that seriously losing yvette could’ve…Translated from by

What?????????? Just watching this has made me exhausted.
So terrible.
I’ve seen most, if not all of the Madea movies and plays. I definitely don’t remember them being as horrible as this was. The transitions?! I mean, c’mon.. Who hired the 9 year old as part of the editing team?!?!
Maybe TP has lost his Madea touch… Because this was super messy and all over the place. I was definitely not here for it.
Plus, where’s Hattie?!?!Technicallyyyyy,,, would this be considered a stoner flick?

this was absolutely wild. i thought this would be a movie like thirteen (2003) but i was so wrong.
i watched this on a website called effedupmovies.com (so i could find it with english subs) and they certainly weren’t lyingthis movie is scary. it goes to really, really dark places, and it goes into extreme depth with the effects of drug use.
the scene were christiane and detlev were withdrawing was so frightening. it was so real.
