  goddamn that mf telly is putting up angel of death numbers, vile eye’s gotta do an analyzing evil episode on this kid, nigga was dirty in ny then escaped to baltimore. this entire movie is uncomfortable asl. i need 15,000+ belts for all the kids in this movie bc this is insane.

  one of my less-favored spike lee joints, but i still really respect his direction. The conversation between the women in particular was one of my favorite scenes in the movie. so many different opinions were shared and passed. spike’s ability to craft dialogue shines in this film.

  this movie just keeps on going. from the silicon circuit boards to the anti-consumerist pastor to the bear who just wants someone to love. it’s probably the most natural musical ever. when the songs start, you don’t even question it, it just feels like the next logical step, because True Stories is highly illogical. David Byrne really is a creative mastermind.
