This was genuinely a horror film.

Watching a series of unfortunate events unfold in front of your eyes, unable to stop it, like watching an oncoming train hurtling towards a brick wall.

The way I was just sat in a state of heightened anxiety the whole time and as soon as Kevin’s sons say they’ll be his brothers… yeah… that crying sesh was cathartic to say the least :(

The fact this is based on a true story and this even being the diluted version is so heartbreaking.

    im so moved!!

Oh, to fall for someone so intensely and understand each other so intimately regardless of time and differences in worldly outlooks

Soo many insanely beautiful moments. The dialogue was so stimulating yet remained realistic

One of my favourite scenes along with the palm reader scene, was when Celine comments on an artist’s stylistic choice of portraying humans as transitory, and their environments as being stronger than them. I loved how that small, almost inconsequential scene, mirrors the entire premise of the film.

My hate for Big and especially Steve will never wither. Also I genuinely can’t get over how easily white people forgive and encourage forgiving cheating?
Breaking up Smith and Samantha was so pointless imo. I truly believe the series ending was the perfect way to go, and there was no need for a movie to sour things. The only high point was Charlotte getting her perfect happy ending and Jennifer Hudson‘s character.
