A Horror Movie directed by Osgood Perkins (director of my favorite horror films of last year Longlegs), produced by James Wan (co-creator of Saw and director of Insidious and The Conjuring) and based on a short story by Stephen King… HELL YES. That film is The Monkey, taken from Stephen King’s Skeleton Crew (a Collection of Short Horror Stories which also includes The Mist) the story involves twin brothers and a wind-up toy monkey that kills people in horrific ways…

When I heard there’s gonna be a Horror Film about a Haunted House told through the ghosts POV AND it’s directed by Steven Soderbergh, I was like SIGN ME THE FUCK UP and man, it was both haunting, beautiful and sad. Soderbergh is built different and he’s done it again, the cinematography is amazing, the score is beautiful and the performances are also really great and the ending might leave you in both shock and tears and If you haven’t seen it PLEASE GO SEE IT IN A THEATER.

Ari Aster likes to fuck with the audience with this film and that’s fucking genius, Beau is Afraid is one hell of a trip (though my brother thought what I just said was an understatement).

The Exorcist: Believer is a direct sequel to what is considered the Scariest Movie of All Time - The Exorcist (I know it scared me when I first saw it), directed by David Gordon Green who recently helmed the recent Halloween Trilogy (Halloween [2018], Halloween Kills & Halloween Ends) which I really enjoyed and when Universal got the film rights to The Exorcist with Blumhouse producing and Green Writing and Directing I was pretty excited. The film revolves around two girls…
