I honestly feel like I didn’t get the point of the movie. It’s like a mixture of porn with stupidity. The “Russian mafia” is portrayed like the three stooges. 40 minutes of sex scenes which show no depth to their relationship so I couldn’t begin to understand why she would love him if not for the money. Then 60 minutes of screaming and half the words are “fuck” - not really an ability Oscar deserving in my opinion. Then another…

The Secret Life of Walter Mitty 2013
Saw this movie in the theaters when it came out and I remember I really liked it, specially the photography which is beautiful. Got reminded of it yesterday on instagram and decided to rewatch it. This movie is a gem, wonderfully directed and, to me, very emotional. Living now in a world where work is being taken for granted and money is all that matters, I feel very touched seeing it honor a person who is dedicated to their job and does it passionately. A good person. Simple but very powerful.
