  I love how real Sean Baker's characters feel. At times I forgot I was watching a film, and the aesthetics from the iPhone footage and Baker's beautiful editing contributed to that. A classic.

  The acting was fantastic, Mikey Madison is a star and Yuriy Borisov was a subtle yet powerful addition. Their storyline was so beautiful. The writing was excellent and the cinematography was just brilliant. So subtle yet beautiful blocking. Best picture well deserved.

  I watched this on a plane and I need to do a rewatch because it was so beautiful and the scenes so intimate that I feel like I need to be alone under the covers watching this one again. Beautifully quiet and tragic.

  A really clever way to make a coming-of-age film, even though the main character is 68 years old. The name of the film drew me in, but the characters had me stay. The acting was just brilliant.
