When i was thirteen i moved to the country where i wouldn’t get in trouble. I started smoking and stealing weed from my moms loser boyfriend. I became an expert on stealing boxers from Kmart. Until I got caught never again… I memorized the lyrics to snoops doggs entire 1st CD.
Definitely had some Evie type friends. Sadly somehow, I still may have some now. But I’m less naive about trusting them.
So this film def feels very familiar, but the end where the mom actually cares for the daughter is the part that gets me… can’t identify with that…

Is she fighting for him, for the life, or trying to save face of having to back to her previous life. Not sure what is endearing or exceptionally interesting or likable about either of these characters. But its a fun day dream / night sweat of a movie and learned some Russian that i will b probably forget.

The movie did keep me guessing on who the killer was. But kind of bland not sure why she falls for mark ruffalo so bad , he has no game and uses words like panties. How did he get the charm anyways? Still seems suspicious. Why is the back yard a never ending beautiful garden and the front is a dingy city, seems weird.
Good soundtrack sort of, but the the title of the movie makes me think of the song
